The last week of the year is the perfect time to reflect on the year, isn’t it? It’s a natural time to take stock, celebrate ourt wins and learn from our losses of the past twelve months. Sandwiched between Christmas and New Years, the tail end of the year beckons us to remember our best moments with a grateful heart.

As you finish out 2022, take a few moments to consider what you have learned and rejoice over goals accomplished. This is the time I review what God has taught me, reminding myself of precious moments God has spoken insight and revelation during my quiet times. These are the AHA moments that spark growth, healing, and wholeness if we pay attention, taking them to heart by remembering and responding. If you’d like to know more about how to do this, check out this post which includes a handy printable of questions to help you review your year from a spiritual standpoint.

This year on the blog I have focused on quality over quantity, which has been a joy. Due to the additional time and energy needed to settle my sweet sister’s estate, I needed to let go of the goal of weekly blog posts. I have to say, it was refreshing and restoring to write when I have something important to share versus keeping a brisk schedule of writing goals. Taking time to grieve, reflect, and rest has brought forth some very special content this year. As with most things, more is not necessarily better. Do you agree?

You can read about what I learned about rest in one of the top 5 posts of the year. This post ranked on the front page of Google for rest and solitude within the first two weeks of publication. I’d say this topic struck a cord with many, and I hope it will speak to your soul as well. I hope you’ll enjoy this curated collection of the most visited and shared posts this year. You’ll also see several free companion resources or ebooks that will help you apply the concepts to your life on a deeper level.
